Accessing Music
You can access Music stored on the microSD memory
card right from your phone’s main menu.
Highlight and press > Music.
Copying Music to Your Phone’s Memory
Card
Copy music files from your computer to your phone’s
micro SD memory card. Music files must be stored in
the Music folder on your memory card to be
recognized by the Music player.
To create a Music folder on your memory card
1. Highlight and press > Settings/Tools >
Tools > Mass Storage > File Manager > Memory Card.
2. Select Options > Create Folder.
3. Enter the name <Music> for the new folder.
4. Press Done (left softkey) to save the new folder on
the card.
To copy music files to the memory card:
1. Connect your phone to your PC using a USB
cable. (For more information, see “Connecting
Your Phone to Your Computer” on page 102.)
2. Copy music files to the Music folder on your
memory card.
To copy music files to the phone:
1. Highlight and press > Settings/Tools > Tools
> Mass Storage > File Manager > Memory Card.
Note
If no microSD card is available, the display will
prompt “Memory card not present.” Insert a microSD
card to play music files stored on the card.
Note
Your phone’s music player will recognize and play
DRM-free (unprotected) MP3 and WMA files.
