2. Highlight from one of the following categories and
press :
My Stuff, My Album, Bookmark, or Menu
Item.
3. Make a selection and press Assign (left softkey) to
make the new shortcut assignment.
Call Answer Mode
Select how to answer incoming calls on your phone:
whether you want to be required to press or to
press any number key.
1. Highlight and press > Settings/Tools >
Settings > More... > Call Setup > Call Answer.
2. Highlight an option and press .
䡲 Any Key to allow an incoming call to be answered
by pressing any key except ,
Ignore
(right softkey),
Silence (left softkey), or .
䡲 Talk Key to require to be pressed to answer all
incoming calls.
Auto Answer Mode
Set your phone to automatically pick up incoming calls
when connected to an optional hands-free car kit.
1. Highlight and press > Settings/Tools >
Settings > More... > Call Setup > Auto Answer.
2. Highlight a Car-Kit/Headset option and press .
䡲 Yes to answer calls automatically when the phone
is connected to a hands-free car kit or a headset
(sold separately). Remember, your phone will
answer calls in Auto-Answer mode even if you
are not present.
䡲 No to disable Auto-Answer.
Setting Abbreviated Dialing
To activate the Contacts Match feature:
This feature allows the phone to try and match the
numbers being entered to an existing Contacts entry.
This saves time by not having to enter the full phone
number to find a match.
1. Highlight and press > Settings/Tools >
Settings > More... > Call Setup > Contacts Match.
