2.5.3 Preparing the machine
Before maintaining the machine:
●
Park the machine on solid and fl at ground.
●
Lower the bucket to the ground.
●
Place blocks under the tracks to prevent
movement of the machine.
●
Turn the fuel control dial to fi rst gear. Run
the engine at low speed for 5 minutes.
●
Turn the start switch to OFF position and
stop the engine.
●
Turn the start switch to the ON position.
Operate the control levers 2 or 3 times in
all directions to relieve internal pressure of
the hydraulic system.
●
Remove the key from the switch.
●
Place the hydraulic lockout control to the
LOCK position.
