If your Sanyo Projector won't turn on, it might have detected an abnormal condition. Try unplugging the AC power cord and plugging it back in to turn on the projector. If the projector turns off again, unplug the AC power cord and contact the dealer or service center for servicing and checkup.

Why won't my Sanyo PLV-Z2000 Projector turn on?
    • S
      Sheila GrantAug 10, 2025
Your Sanyo Projector might not turn on because the projection lamp is cooling down, or the temperature inside the projector is abnormally high. When the projector is cooled down enough and the temperature returns to normal, the POWER indicator emits red light, and the projector can be turned on. Also, the projector may be in Power management mode.

Why Sanyo PLV-Z2000 Projector has no power?
    • R
      Robert TaylorAug 18, 2025
If your Sanyo Projector isn't powering on, there are several potential causes: * The primary power supply circuit might not be working correctly. To troubleshoot, check the Varistor (VA611), the SS3.3V power supply line, and the Power Board. * There could be an issue with the secondary power supply lines. Inspect the S5V, -5V, and 17.5V power supply lines on the Main board. * A problem with the fan control circuits might exist. Examine FN901/902/903/904/905 and the surrounding circuit, as well as connectors K8E/K8F from TH901/TH902. * An abnormality in the power starter signals could be the cause. Verify the POWER_ON_SW signal (Power-on:H) output from pin 9 of IC4801.
