Removing the power plug adapter
t Press on the ribbed button from above while sliding the power plug adapter
backward.
t Push the power plug adapter out of the AC adapter and remove it.
Connecting the AC Adapter
t Check the voltage rating on the AC adapter’s type plate. Make sure that the
voltage rating printed on this unit matches the local supply voltage at the place
of installation.
t If the stated supply voltage does not comply with the local supply voltage or there
is no suitable AC adapter available: Do not use the AC adapter. Contact Sartorius
Service.
t Only use original Sartorius AC adapters.
t Connect the angle plug (2) to the device’s power supply socket
(operating voltage connection).
t Connect the power cable (1) to the wall outlet (supply voltage) at the
installation location.
4.6 Warm-up Time
y To ensure accurate results are delivered, the balance must warm up for at least
30 minutes after initial connection to the power supply.
Only after this time will the device have reached the required operating
temperature.
When a verified balance of accuracy class k for use in legal metrology is connected
to the mains power, it must warm up for at least one hour before operation.
