Operating the Menu Access Switch
The menu access switch is found only on balance/scale versions that are verified
for use in legal metrology. The switch is located under a protective cap on the
bottom of the balance/scale.
Note:
Span adjustment with external weights can be performed without the Sartorius
service software if the deviation does not exceed ± 2% of the required weight.
Procedure:
1. Open the menu access witch (move to the right)
2. Make sure menu item 1 - 5 - 1 is active (see page 36)
3. Press the q key
4. Adjust the balance/scale as needed
5. Close the menu access switch (this step is essential for
verified operation of the balance/scale)
