The
Print
Head
faces
downward
along
the
front
edge
of
the
assembly.
Pass
the
end
of
the
dampened
swab
along
the
entire
width
of
the
Print
Head
(you
may
need
to
move
the
ribbon
out
of
the
wa
y
to
do
this
)
.
5.
Check
for
any
black
coloring
or
adhesive
on
the
swab
after
cleanin
g
.
6.
Repeat
if
necessary
until
the
swab
is
clean
after
it
is
passed
over
the
head.
7.
The
head
should
be
cleaned
at
least
every
time
the
ribbon
is
changed
and
more
often
in
dusty
environments.

one
of

cotton
swabs.

The
Platen
is
the rubber
roller
directly
below the
Print
Head
.

should
be
cleaned
of
any
ribbon
or
label
residue.

The
Label
Feed
Roller
is
located
underneath
the
Label
Label Pressure Rollers
Label Feed Roller
Hold-Down
.
I
t
should
be
cleaned
of
any
label
residue
or
foreign
material.
Clean
the
Label
Pressure
Rollers
on
the
underside
of
the
Label
Hold-Down.
7.
There
is
one
metal
Ribbon
Guide
Rolle
r
used
in
guiding
the
ribbon
through
the
p
rinter.
It
should
be
cleaned
of
an
y
residue
or
forei
g
n
material.
8.
Repeat
if
necessary.
The
platen
and
rollers
should
be
cleaned
whenever
foreign
matte
r
such
as
dus
t
or
adhesive is
p
resent.
