Resetting to Factory Default Settings
To reset the printer to factory default settings:
1. Turn off the printer.
2. Press and hold the CANCEL/RESET button and turn on the
printer.
3. When RIBBON indicator start to blink, release the
CANCEL/RESET button.
4. When the READY indicator stops blinking but remains
illuminated, the following information is now back to defaults:
Label parameters
Heat (Darkness)
Speed
Symbol set (language)
Others for specific emulation
Note:
1. Be cautioned that this will reset all printer settings back to
defaults; if possible, print the configuration label in advance
before reset.
2. All settings stored in FLASH memory are retained even after
turning off the printer.
3. The print length meter cannot be reset to 0.
4. After resetting the printer and before printing, please
perform media calibration again.
