DIP Switch
DIP Switch settings indicated on printer’s configuration report are set
practically by DIP Switch on main board, located near Media supply
hanger. As described below, some of the DIP switches can be adjusted
upward or downward, representing different functions.
Note: Turn off the printer before setting DIP Switch.

Position is:
Up
(Off)
Printer’s firmware defaults
to reflective sensor. As long
as switch is at Up position,
labeling software, windows
driver, or printer commands
can change sensor’s settings.

Once the switch is set from
Down to Up, printer will be
set to Transmissive sensor.
Thermal transfer
(default)
Position is:
Down
(On)
Printer is forced and fixed to
Reflective sensor setting.
Labeling software, windows
driver, or printer commands
cannot change sensor
setting.
