IDENTIFICATION
3.3 Name plate
The product is identified by a name plate
• for the measuring head (separately on the measuring head of the VISATRON
®
VN2020 / VN2020 EX)
and
• for the complete device (on the connection box of the VISATRON
®
VN2020 /
VN2020 EX)
The serial number on the name plate contains information about the product and is
important for replacement orders and overhauls. The serial number is assigned once for
each product. The manufacturer can use this number to identify all the product data.

The name plate is attached to the outside of the measuring head as shown in the figure
below.
