4.1.1 Component overview with standard drainage concept
An oil mist detection system, referred to as an installation kit, usually consists of the
following for delivery.
The oil mist detection system is usually configured specifically for the engine.

system for a six-cylinder engine, which consists of the following components:

1: VN2020 (Non Ex/Ex) oil mist detector
3: Engine wall connection
5: Pipe bracket (header pipe)
7: Header pipe
9: Exhaust air pipe (recirculation line)
2: Bracket (customer-specific)
4: Pipe siphon
6: Intake pipe for connection box
8: Intake pipe for engine wall connection
10: Intake pipe for pipe siphon
Depending on customer requirements, items 6 and 8-10 can be supplied as a rigid version
(pipe) or as a flexible line.
