11. ADDITIONAL SAFETY FEATURES
ANTIROLLOFFSYSTEM A.R.O.S.
SCHUBERTH‘s proprietary Anti-Roll-O-System ensures that when the chin strap is closed
and properly congured
a) the helmet cannot twist o the head from the rear,
b) no contact can occur between the visor edge and
the chin or neck of the rider due when the head is
put at a sharp angle
c) contact between the helmet and the body is
reduced during an accident.
Reective Areas
There are two reecting areas to the left and right below the
visor lens. They are complemented by silver-coloured reecting
appliqués on the neck padding to promote strong visibility
of the motorcycle rider in street trac. In addition, the
SCHUBERTH script on the brow of the helmet are produced
using reective foil.
Note:
Keep the reective safety areas clean.
Note:
When using the helmet in France, additional reective
safety stickers must be applied on the left and right of
the helmet at the brow and on the rear.
1. PUTTING ON THE HELMET
1. Retract the sun visor within the helmet shell.
2. Open the chin strip.
3. Grasp the lower ends of the chin strap and
pull them apart.
4. The helmet should now pull easily over the head.
5. Close the chin straps, using the ratchet lash
to insert the chin strap piece by piece into the
clasp until it ts snugly.
6. Ensure that the chin strap is arranged beneath
the chin and sitting snugly.
2. REMOVING THE HELMET
1. Retract the sun visor within the helmet shell.
2. Open the chin strip.
3. Draw the ratchet lash out of the clasp.
4. Grasp the lower ends of the chin strap and
pull them apart.
5. The helmet should now pull easily o the head.
Tip:
To avoid scratching other objects onto which the helmet is set down, the chin straps
should be closed once it has been removed.
