Risk of injury due to loss of workpiece!
A holding force that is too low can lead to the loss of a workpiece
and serious injury during handling.
• Test workpiece suitability for each type of workpiece
separately.
• Increase the holding force if necessary.
• Observe the maximum permissible load capacity, Technical

• Avoid overheating the product. If necessary, reduce the
number of activations per minute.
6.1 Adjusting the holding force
(Only ECG-R.)
The holding force required on the magnetic gripper is preselected
before every magnetization. To do this, the force signals IN1–IN8
are activated (value=1) or deactivated (value=0) on the "Holding
force" terminal (X1, supplementary printed circuit board).
