❶ Enter the value of the stabilized
vacuum. Use the directional arrows "up"
and "down" on the device
Turn on the vacuum pump with the valve
open. When the vacuum reaches the
target value, close the valve and stop the
vacuum pump. Wait a few moments until
the manometer indicates a constant value,
called "stabilized", to be entered. Turn the
pump on again if necessary.
If the vacuum is not maintained
continuously, check the continuity of the
installation.
❷ Return to the previous screen with the
F1 key
❸ Go to the next screen with the F3 key
The next step is to take measurements of the system under stabilized vacuum. These successive
measurements, in airborne and liquid phase, will be recorded in the memory location named "Test",
associated with the tank number chosen at the beginning of the guided procedure.
The stabilized vacuum must be maintained at +/- 5% of the target value. If pressure is lost, restart the
vacuum pump and open the valve to restore an acceptable pressure for the regulatory test.
