Throttle/Shift Lever Cable
Activate the throttle/shift lever through-
out its full range of motion. It must op-
erate smoothly. Refer to an authorized
SEA-DOO Sport Boat dealer if adjust-
ment is necessary.
Fuel and Oil Filters
These filters should be replaced by an
authorized SEA-DOO Sport Boat deal-
er annually.

Steering/Jet Pump Nozzle
Adjustment
When the steering is directed in straight
ahead position, the jet pump nozzle
should be in the same direction to allow
the craft to run in a straight line.
Refer to an authorized SEA-DOO Sport
Boat dealer if an adjustment is neces-
sary.
Reverse Gate
Refer to an authorized SEA-DOO Sport
Boat dealer if an adjustment is neces-
sary.
Deck Drain(s)
Remove any obstruction from deck
drain.
Fuses
Accessories, Craft Electrical
System and Gauges
If a fuse is defective, replace by one of
the same rating.

Bilge Air Blower
Verify bilge air blower for proper oper-
ation. It is located inside engine com-
partment beneath ventilation duct.
Clean both openings. Ensure that both
openings are not obstructed. See next
illustration.

WARNING
Do not alter or tamper with throttle/
cable adjustment or routing.
WARNING
Ensure the steering/jet pump noz-
zle operate freely from side to side
and is not stressing the steering ca-
ble.
WARNING
Ensure the throttle/shift lever and
reverse gate operate freely and are
not stressing the reverse cable.
WARNING
Do not use a higher rated fuse as
this can cause severe damage. If a
fuse has burnt out. Source of mal-
function should be determined
and connected before restarting.

WARNING
If bilge blower does not operate
refer to an authorized SEA-DOO
Sport Boat dealer before starting
the craft.
