27. Apply a 3/8” layer of caulking
to the under-side of the
perimeter flange of radome
cap.
28. Climb onto the upper panel
assembly, have someone
hand the cap to you and
insert the cap into the top of
the radome with a twisting
rotation. This will evenly
spread the caulking and align
the bolt holes inside the
radome top.
29. Install the radome cap using
the provided hardware.
CAUTION: Do NOT over
tighten the hardware. Only
tighten until the fiberglass
STARTS to flex.
30. Apply additional caulking to
fill gaps between the upper
panels and the cap.
31. Clean off excess caulking.
32. The upper section of the
radome is now complete.
33. Place short pieces of 2”x4”
boards under the perimeter of
the radome top to raise it up
off of the ground.
