Electricity generation
Your electricity generation
If you have a source of generating electricity such as solar panels or other micro-generation systems installed in
your house and a Smart Meter configured for co-gen tariff then depending upon how much electricity you are
generating you will be able to see this display on the main screen.
The electricity generation dial will replace the electricity usage dial if you are generating electricity more than
what you are using now. The scaling on the electricity generation dial takes into account the generation capacity
you have set in your Pipit (Refer to the ‘Advanced settingspage).
This negative value means you
are currently using less and
generating more electricity.
This symbol shows when
generating back into the
network,
for those with solar installations.
This is the cost of net electricity
you have used (usage minus
generation) today so far.
This is what you have set as your
electricity generation capacity.
