Powerbase Chassis
Powerbase Chassis
The inset in Figure 14–1 shows the numeral 2 and an arrow
stamped on the Chassis to indicate the front of the Chassis.
Disassembly
1. Make sure the PT is powered off, unplugged, and the
batteries have been removed.
2. Establish a Serviceable Powerbase (page 8–2).
3. Remove both Gearboxes (page 7–2).
4. Remove the Radio Board (page 9–3).
5. Remove the Console (page 9–4).
6. Remove the Chassis Cover (page 10–2).
7. Remove both CU Boards (page 11–2).
8. Remove the Balance Sensor Assembly (page 12–2).
9. Remove both Motors (page 13–2).
Reassembly
1. Install both Motors (page 13–2).
2. Install the Balance Sensor Assembly (page 12–2).
NOTICE
Use self-tapping fasteners when installing the BSA
into a new Powerbase Chassis.
3. Install both CU Boards (page 11–2).
NOTICE
Use self-tapping fasteners when installing the CU
Boards into a new Powerbase Chassis.
4. Install the Chassis Cover (page 10–2).
5. Install the Console (page 9–4).
6. Install the Radio Board (page 9–3).
7. Install both Gearboxes (page 7–2).
8. Reassemble the PT from the Serviceable Powerbase
(page 8–2).
9. Perform post-service tests (page A–1).
