PROLONGED INACTIVITY OF THE MACHINE
If the machine remains idle for long periods, place it in a
sheltered, secure place. If possible, place it in a place that
is neither too cold nor to hot. Carry out the operations
described here in under to avoid corrosion or
deterioration.
1) Accurately clean the machine and if necessary retouch
the paint in order to avoid the formation of rust and
replace the damaged parts.
2) Lubricate the machine and drain the oil from the
hydraulic system.
The liquid used and collected must not be
disposed of in the environment because
according to the laws in force it is defined as
special waste and as such should be consigned
to bodies authorised for the gathering, storage
and disposal of these waste products. Consult
the nearest ASSOCIATION FOR USED OIL.
Refill with new oil as prescribed in the points "Oil
change" relative to each operation.
3) Put some grease on the jacks to avoid corrosion.
4) Check the grease in the transmission chains and, if
necessary, lubricate them.
