2. Certications
SMART 3G series gas detectors meet the essential health
and safety requirements in accordance with the ATEX Di-
rective 2014/34/EU.
The gas detectors of the ST series have been designed for
use in potentially explosive atmospheres due to the pre-
sence of gas, vapour, mist and dust, classied as zone 1 or
zone 2 (or zone 21 or 22 when the dust cover is applied)
according to EN 60079-10-1 and EN 60079-10-2 classi-
cation.
