Making copies

Turn the power switch on.

Open the original cover.

Place an original face down on the original table and align it with the original scale.
(Make sure the upper left corner of the original is set to the position indicated by the
“ ” mark, as shown.)

Gently close the original cover. When copying a book or an original which has been
folded or crumpled, press down lightly on the original cover. If the original cover is not
securely closed, the copies may be striped or blurred.
