Before Using the Handset
Setting the PIN code
You can protect against unauthorized use by entering a PIN
code when the power is turned on.

In the home screen, display “app list screen”▶
[Settings]▶[Security & location]▶[Advanced]▶
[Set up SIM card lock]

Select a nanoSIM Card

If two nanoSIM Cards are inserted, touch the tab on the
screen top and select the nanoSIM Card you wish to set.

[Lock SIM card]

Enter a PIN code▶[OK]

The setting is saved on the nanoSIM Card.
Changing the PIN code
You can only change a nanoSIM Card for which [Lock SIM
card] is set.

Select a nanoSIM Card

If two nanoSIM Cards are inserted, touch the tab on the
screen top and select the nanoSIM Card you wish to set.

Enter the current PIN code▶[OK]

Enter a new PIN code▶[OK]

Disabling PIN lock

In the PIN locking screen, enter PUK (PIN
Unlock Key)
