• Next, the special matrix function menu is ex-
plained below.

to open the matrix MATH menu. This
menu contains options 1 to 4.
[1 det] Used to calculate the determinant from the
matrix to obtain the solution.
This command can be used only when the number of rows and columns are
the same.
<Example>
To calculate the determinant of mat A:

Entry: det mat A
Answer: 172
[2 trans] Used to calculate the transposed matrix (rows and columns of the matrix are
swapped).
<Example>
To calculate the transposed matrix of mat B:

Answer:
[3 row EF] Used to calculate the row-echelon form of the
matrix.
<Example>
To calculate the row-echelon form of mat A:
