Details Scanner memory check sum error
Cause EEPROM trouble
EEPROM which is not initialized is
installed.
Control circuit freeze by noises
Scanner PWB EEPROM access circuit

Remedy
Check that EEPROM is set properly.
Record counter/adjustment values with
the simulation to protect the data from
being deleted.
Cancel U2 trouble with SIM 16.
Replace scanner PWB.
90 Content EEPROM read/write error (PCU)

Cause EEPROM trouble
PCU PWB EEPROM access circuit
trouble
Check and
remedy
Check that EEPROM is properly
inserted.
Record counter/adjustment values with
