8 Electrical connection
Caution: Installation by electrican to avoid damages on the chain motor!
•
• Acord-connecteddraperyoperatorshallbeprovidedwithalengthofexiblecordandanattachmentplugfor
connection to the supply circuit. When provided with a power-supply cord, provision for permanent connection of a
wiring system is not required.
• Theexiblecordshallbeofatypeacceptablefortheapplication.Itshallberatedforuseatavoltagenotlessthan
the rated voltage of the appliance, and shall have an ampacity not less than the current rating of the appliance.
• Thelengthoftheexiblecordshallnotbelessthan0.305m(1ft)normorethan3.05m(10ft).
• The attachment plug shall be rated for use at a current not less than the rated current and at a voltage equal to the
rated voltage of the appliance

8.1 Connect the power cable to the drive (If the power cable is not preassembled on delivery or a
skylight or frame assembly should be made).
► Loosen end cap: Remove screw 2 using screwdriver
1 and remove end cap 3.
Note: Cable exit for mounting options:

Special PVC command cable UL (LiYY)
6 x 0,82 mm², 18 AWG, PVC Style 2464,
300 V, 80°C
► Connect the power cable with the spring-pin
connector:
Slide the power cable through the end cap 3 and connect
according connection diagram with the spring-pin
connector. Then insert the spring-pin connector into
the connection socket in the drive. Put the end cap back
onto the housing and tighten.
