plotters conform to the NMEA standard.
Statements that a GPS, LORAN, or plotter
provide navigation data may mean that the
data is provided only in the manufacturer’s
own language.
If you are purchasing a LORAN, GPS or
plotter, make sure that it sends out at least
one of the listed sentences.
