Use in hazardous zones
If device SITOP BUF1200 Ex (6EP4231-7HC00-0AX0) is installed in a hazardous zone (II 3G
Ex ec IIC T4 Gc) then it must be installed in a distribution box with degree of protection
IP54 or higher. This distribution box must comply with the requirements of IEC/EN 60079-0/
GB3836.1 and must require a tool for opening.
3.2.2 SITOP PSE201U
The device can be mounted in a control cabinet on standard mounting rails (see Chapter
Mechanical system (Page 93)).
Mounting
To mount the device, position it with the mounting rail guide at the upper edge of the
standard mounting rail and press down to lock it into place. If this is too difficult, press the
slider ③ at the same time, as described under "Removal".
Removing
To remove, pull up the slider ③ using a screwdriver (see Figure 3-5 Mounting/removal
(Page 50)) and disengage the device at the bottom edge of the standard mounting rail. Then
you can remove the device from the upper edge of the standard mounting rail.
