8 Testing the installation
The fire detection installation can be switched to 'Test' operation mode to check it
is functioning properly.
8.1 Checking functions
The table below shows the recommended intervals for checking functions. National
specifications always take priority.
For details of the function test, refer to the 'Applicable documents' chapter.

Trigger an automatic detector and a manual call point per line. X

During short-circuit also check the separator function.
