The NK8000 Web Server tool
3. Click Enter.
You are logged in as ‘guest’ (default user type) when the NS8210 window
appears.
NOTE: To stop the browser's security warning, see Secure communication for
web services [➙ 53].
Note: To change user type (for example, from ‘guest’ to administrator), select the
menu on the PC icon top right to display the Login window.
Note: You can log in to the NK8000 Web tool in the following ways:
- Guest user (default): user name = “guest” / password = “guest” (read-only
privileges, automatic login).
- Administrative user: call customer support for username and password
(read/write privileges).
Case sensitive – enter letters in lower case only.

Remote control commands
The lower frame of the NS8210 utility window displays a list of the NK82xx
branches in the NK8000 network. The following color code applies:
⚫ Green lines: NK823x units that are properly connected.
⚫ Yellow lines: connections that are being established.
⚫ Red lines: communication problem.
⚫ Light blue lines: branches that are set out of scan.
