7 Maintenance and care
The Climatix touch panel is designed for maintenance-free operation. Keep the
touch screen and keyboard membrane clean.
Proceed as follows:
1. Shut down the Climatix touch panel.
2. Spray the cleaning solution onto a cleaning cloth.
Do not spray directly onto the Climatix touch panel.
3. Clean the Climatix touch panel.
When cleaning, wipe from the screen edge inwards.
● Use a cleaning cloth dampened with a cleaning agent to clean the equipment.
Only use water with a little liquid soap or a screen cleaning sponge.
● When cleaning the touch screen, you may inadvertently trigger a response on
the controller by touching keys. To prevent this, switch off the Climatix touch
panel prior to cleaning.
● The Climatix touch panel may be damaged if compressed air, steam jet
blowers, aggressive solvents or scouring powders are used for cleaning
purposes.
Do not clean the Climatix touch panel with compressed air or steam jet
blowers. Do not use aggressive solvents or scouring powder.
