4.1 Switching on the device
Requirements
• The power supply is connected.
Procedure
1. Switch the ON/OFF switch at the front of the device on ("ON" position when the symbol "_" is
pressed in).
Information on the position of the switch is available under "Interfaces and operating
elements (Page 13)".
Commissioning the installed Windows® operating system
You can find information on first startup of the device and commissioning the installed
Windows® operating system in the operating system documentation.

4.2 Switching off the device
Shutting down the operating system
For active operating system
• Shut down the operating system properly.
Result
The "POWER" operating display is lit yellow.
The device is switched off but not fully disconnected from the line voltage.
