To set up small local area networks or to connect several Ethernet devices a
4-port switch was integrated in the CP 443-1 Advanced and a 2-port switch in
the CP 343-1 and CP 343-1 Lean.
With the autocrossing mechanism integrated in the switch, it is possible to
establish the connection from a laptop or PG directly using standard cables. A
crossover cable is not necessary.
