Fundamentals
The power factor is measured at different operating points.
Test procedure
1. The drive is operated in the test mode the same as in the "Load test without motor".
2. The power factor is measured at the input and output at 50 %, 75 % and 100 % load.
Result
The measured values are documented in the "Functional test plan".
3.5.4 Efficiency and loss measurement
Fundamentals
Efficiency and losses are measured at various operating points.
Test procedure
1. The drive is operated for 20 minutes each in the test mode, the same as in the "Load test
without motor".
2. Efficiency and losses are measured at two minute intervals at the input and output for 50 %,
75 % and 100 % load.
Result
The measured values are documented in the "Functional test plan".

Fundamentals
The effects of the drive on the supply grid/line supply are determined by recording the
harmonics.
