1.
Make sure that
 the hardware has been completely installed and wired (see chapter 5.1).
 the 24 V DC power supply for the SIMATIC controller is switched on.

Connect the SIMATIC S7 controller to your PG/PC via Industrial Ethernet.
3.
If you are using one of the supplied archives from Table 2-4, unzip it to a local directory of your
development system and open the respective TIA project:
 V20USSatS7-1200
 V20USSatS7-1500
If you are using your own project that has already been modified, open this project.
4.
Download PLC_1 to the CPU.
