4.1 Characteristics
The following elements designate an NCU:
• Integrated PLC
• DRIVE-CLiQ interfaces for connecting to the drive
• Interfaces for operation behind a hinged front cover:
– Ethernet ports
– PROFINET interfaces
– PROFIBUS interface
– Digital inputs/outputs (6 of which can be parameterized as inputs for probe and BERO)
• Commissioning interfaces:
– Ethernet interface
• Operation without fan
• Buered real-time clock
• Slot for an SD Card
