Mounting direct-on-line starters and reversing starters on DIN rail adapters (size S2)
Mounting the DIN rail adapter on the DIN rail
The DIN rail adapter snaps onto the DIN rail (no tools are required).
Mounting the direct-on-line starter on the DIN rail adapter: Size S2
The figure below illustrates how the size S2 direct-on-line starter with screw-type connection
system is mounted on a DIN rail adapter. The devices are snapped onto the DIN rail adapter
and screwed onto the adapter.

Place the feeder on the DIN rail adapter.

Screw the feeder to the DIN rail adapter. The feeder sits tight on the adapter.
Tightening torque: 1.5 ... 1.6 Nm
Note
For vibration and shock requirements, the washer must be replaced with a wedge lock
washer (DIN 50021
-SS 4.4 x 9.0 x 1.7).
