2. Press the "Start PROFIsafe Commissioning" button.
The PROFIsafe Commissioning State shows: "S2 = intended for safe operation, not
inspected"
3. Press the "Close" button.
Result
The "Start PROFIsafe Commissioning" dialog box is closed.
The PROFIsafe device is in "S2" and is write protected accordingly.
Checksum PROFIsafe Commissioning
1. Press the "Upload to PG/PC" button.
2. Click on "Device > PROFIsafe Commissioning > Checksum for PROFIsafe
Commissioning" in the menu bar.
The "Checksum PROFIsafe Commissioning" dialog box is opened.
3. Press the "Start generation of checksum" button.
4. If the checksums are equal, press the button "The checksums are equal!".
Additional information is then displayed.
If the checksums are not equal, press the button "The checksums are different!".
Additional information is then displayed.
5. Press the "OK" button.
Result
The "Checksum PROFIsafe Commissioning" dialog box is closed.
Note
Before you continue the PROFIsafe commissioning, carry out all necessary function checks,
which ensure the correct functioning of the device in its application.
Continue after function check
1. Click on "Device > PROFIsafe Commissioning > Continue PROFIsafe Commissioning" in
the menu bar.
The "Continue PROFIsafe Commissioning" dialog box is opened.
The PROFIsafe Commissioning State shows: "S2 = intended for safe operation, not
inspected"
2. Press the "Inspection completed" button.
The PROFIsafe Commissioning State shows: "S3 = intended for safe operation,
inspection completed"
