Flush
This feature is only available when using MDL versions 6.3.0 and later.
■ Can be delivered in drug amount/time infusion modes (as selected in the Master Drug
Library) and is not available in continuous modes.
■ The maximum flush volume is 100 mL - up to 3 flushes allowed.
■ The flush rate is the same as the last displayed mL/hr rate.
■ Software versions 6.04 and later: A maximum flush volume between 1-100 mL can be
entered in the MDL for each drug.
1. At primary or secondary infusion complete, rate KVO, press STOP.
2. Press YES to flush and enter flush volume (mL), or NO to reset the program.
3. At Line Flush Complete Screen (primary or secondary) press STOP and REPEAT FLUSH
softkey, if necessary. To reset the program, press NO to flush prompt.
