Delayed Start
This feature is only available when using software version 5.02.03 and earlier.
The start of any programmed infusion can be delayed by up to 12 hours.
1. On the infusion set up screen, enter any value between one minute and twelve hours (00:01
to 12:00, hr:min) on the delay time parameter and press OK.
2. Once a delay time is entered, the infusion programming is complete, and the set is loaded,
press the RUN key to begin the infusion delay timer.
The delay running screen appears with the remaining delay time shown in a flashing for-
mat.
When the delay time period expires, the pump begins delivery of the programmed infusion.
Stopping/Cancelling the Delay Timer
While the delay is running it may be stopped or cancelled.
■ To stop the delay, press the STOP key. The display updates to DELAY STOPPED and the
delay timer is paused and no longer flashes.
■ To cancel the delay, press the CANCEL softkey. The remaining delay time is cleared and the
display updates to PUMP STOPPED).
Changing the Delay Timer
The remaining delay time value may be changed while the delay is running or stopped.
1. Press REVIEW/PROGRAM softkey to display the setup screen.
2. Move the cursor to the Delay value and enter the new desired delay time and press OK.
NOTE: The new delay time is immediately applied. The Delay time value may not be cleared
while the delay is running.
Values Differ
This feature is only available when using software version 6.04.01 and later.
Blind weight reentry display (set up in the Master Drug Library) indicating the weight or BSA
entered does not match the weight or BSA initially entered on the set up programming screen.
