13. Review or reprogram the primary infusion as needed:
Running
■ Press the REVIEW softkey to view infusion information and clear volume given mL.
Stopped
■ Press REVIEW/PROGRAM softkey to display setup screen and change any value.
■ Press PROGRAM SECNDRY softkey to program secondary infusion.
Software version 5.02.03 and earlier
1. Press the ON/OFF button to turn the pump on.
2. Press BASIC.
3. If the prior setup needs to be erased, press CLEAR ALL.
4. Select primary or secondary bag, and press OK.
5. Select mL/hr or use the arrow softkeys to scroll through dose rates, and press OK.
6. Enter the flow rate value, and press OK.
7. Enter the VTBI (Volume To Be Infused) in mL and press OK.
8. Confirm the computed infusion time.
9. Confirm the Volume Given mL value or press CLEAR to erase it.
NOTE: VTBI counts down to zero, while volume given counts from zero up.
10. Press RUN to begin the infusion.
11. Confirm all infusion parameters are as intended.
12. Review or reprogram the primary infusion as needed:
Running and Stopped - Press REVIEW softkey to view and or change highlighted value and
clear volume given mL.
Setting up a Secondary Infusion
Software version 6.01.00 and later
1. Make sure you have prepared the pump for a secondary infusion, using the steps in “Pre-
paring the Pump for a Secondary Infusion” section, beginning on page 20.
2. Follow the steps for programming the primary bag infusion as described in either “Pro-
gramming the Pump Using the Drug Error Prevention Mode” section, beginning on
page 24 or “Programming the Pump Using the Basic Mode” section, beginning on page 28.
