ALARMS
The Spectrum Pump has a number of alarms that appear when specific conditions exist. These
alarms are annunciated with a tone and an alarm message is displayed on the pump screen. The mes-
sage states the reason for the alarm and contains prompts for clearing the alarm.

To advance air for aspiration
from lower Y-site:
Upstream occlusion may exist
Check for kinks and
closed clamps above
the pump
UPSTREAM

Open clamps and
tube kinks above
pump, then
press RUN
OCCLUSION
DOWNSTREAM
OCCLUSION
silence
Eliminate closed
clamp, kinked tube,
or clotted filter or
catheter to
restart pump.
