attempt to replace or upgrade components inside an SGI Octane III deskside workstation
enclosure.
Up to eight disk drives can be mounted inside the tray; refer to Figure 1-10.

Disk drive locations
Disk drives are mounted with up to
two drives in each bracket. If there is
only one drive installed in a bracket,
a filler panel is installed in the other
location to retain proper airflow.
Note: This bracket has been
removed from this illustration to show
how drives are positioned inside the
bracket.
