.. Carrot salad
Ingredients for portions
– medium-sized carrots tbsp salad oil
– oranges pinch
of
salt and pepper
sour apple, pitted with peel
Preparation:
Wash and peel the carrots.
Wash then remove the apple core and quarter it.
Use the coarse grate vegetable cutter insert () to chop the carrots and apple.
Squeeze the oranges.
Mix the ingredients in a bowl and finish by seasoning the salad with salt and pepper.
.. Potato pancakes
Ingredients for approx. – potato pancakes
g potatoes (peeled, raw) pinch of nutmeg
eggs (size M) approx.
g
wheat flour
tsp salt medium-sized onion
/ tsp pepper – tbsp cooking oil for frying
Preparation:
Use the coarse grate vegetable cutter insert () to chop the onion.
Use the coarse grate/fine grate vegetable cutter insert (/) to chop the raw pota-
toes to your preferred size. Then place the grated potatoes onto a clean tea towel and
squeeze out the liquid.
Place all ingredients into a bowl and combine the ingredients until a uniform mixture is
formed.
First heat the cooking oil in a non-stick pan on a high level. For each potato pancake,
place approx. one ladle of mixture into the pan and spread it flat. Fry the potato pan-
cakes one by one on both sides for approx. – minutes at a medium heat.
Allow the potato pancakes to drain off on kitchen paper towel, to prevent them from
being too greasy.
Keep the cooked potato pancakes warm in an oven pre-heated to approx. °C.
