7. Tighten all four of the M6 screws to a torque of 2 Nm to secure the base into
the rack.

THAT HAS A SAFETY EARTH CONNECTION.
WARNINGS
DO NOT CONNECT THE MAINS ELECTRICITY SUPPLY UNTIL THE
INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE
DISCONNECT THE MAINS ELECTRICITY SUPPLY BEFORE WORKING ON AN
OPEN WALL MOUNT OR POWER SUPPLY UNIT TRAY
8. Refer to the Electrical Connections section, for full details of all connections and
the connector pin-outs.
9. Using a suitable test set, e.g. an Anritsu/Wiltron S331A, check the Tx and Rx
antenna connections for a VSWR of 1.5:1 or better at the relevant Tx and Rx
Frequencies.
10. Using an Earth Bonding Test Set, check the mains protective earth for a low
impedance of <0.3 Ω.
11. On the SDB670 rear panel, carry out the following:
a. Connect the Tx and Rx antenna cables to their respective N-type
connectors.
b. Ensuring that the mains power source is switched off, connect the mains
power cable from the IEC connector to the power source.
12. Carry out the configuration of the SDB670 in accordance with Configuration of
New Tier II Base Station or Configuration of New Tier III Base Station as
appropriate.
