Deactivating the "Boost" function
If the "Boost" foot switch function (displayed in the bot-
tom center of the display) is not desired, it can be deac-
tivated by pressing and simultaneously.
The text “Boost“ then no longer appears at the bottom
center of the display.
For operation of the PerioSonic handpiece, please refer
to the operating instructions that came with your hand-
piece.
ATTENTION
When placing the handpiece in its holder, take care to al-
ways fit the tip protector (torque wrench) (A).
Risk of injury with the tip exposed!
Power setting for different tips
A maximum power setting of 100 % is possible for the
tips specified below.

SIROPERIO tips
SIROPREP tips
SIRORETRO tips
The exceptions are:
Tip no. 3L up to 80 %
Tip no. 4L up to 70 %
SIROPERIO PE1 up to 70 %
SIROPERIO 4PS up to 80 %
SIROPERIO PE7 up to 70 %
SIROPERIO PE8 up to 80 %
CEM tip up to 50 %
The user is responsible for setting the appropriate power
level according to the medical indication.
ATTENTION
For endodontic tip no. 5, a maximum power setting
of 4 % must not be exceeded!
Checking the water flow rate on the hose
The minimum water flow rate is 30 ml/min. This must be
checked at regular intervals.
Setting the water flow rate on the handpiece
The procedure for setting the water flow rate is
described in the operating instructions delivered with
your handpiece.
