Bed Set-Up
1. Remove side rails from under the bed. Remove packaging
wrapped around the side rails and inspect for damages.
The head section is placed upside down on the foot section.
The headboard and footboard are placed between the two
sections. Separate these pieces and inspect for damages.
Remove the two zip ties that are holding down the deck
sections to the frame on each side of the bed.
2. To assemble the bed, place the head
section and foot section facing each other.
To put the two sections together, lift up on
the foot section and place on the shoulder
bolt that is connected to the head section.
WARNING: During set-up, DO
NOT remove the shoulder bolt on
the center joint of the frame. It
allows one side of the frame to slide out when ready to lift the frame apart.
Failure to follow this warning could result in patient or user injury as well as
damage to equipment or other property.
3. Using a #2 square drive screwdriver, remove the sheet
metal on the lumbar section of the deck.
4. Locate the 3 – 5/8” bolts, washers and nuts.
Place the bolt and washer together, then
insert through the head section and then
through the foot section of the bed. Add the
washer and Nylock nut to complete the bed
frame assembly. Secure tightly using 15/16”
wrenches.
