Shallow water alarm : The Shallow water alarm is mandatory, but can be used in one of 2 methods
- CAT A ALF/ACN/ALC: The newer IEC62923 standard allowing the system. In this mode no
remote status operations are available the system cannot be remotely acknowledged. Remote
silencing is available
- CAT B ALF/ACN/ALC The system is connected to an approved INS, All remote functions are avail-
able
Alerts
All alerts are category B unless otherwise stated.
Responsibility can be transferred on all alarms and warn-
ings.
The system will only support 1 instance of each type of
alert at a time.
Aggregation is not supported.
The system can be locally or remotely silenced for a
period of 30 seconds. After this time the audible signal will
return. New alerts that occur during the silenced time will
sound even in this period.
