Appendix VI: How to Restore Factory WiFi Sengs
From me to me you may need to reset SAM to its factory WiFi sengs. For
instance, if you accidentally enter any incorrect WiFi sengs you may need to
“reboot” SAM by restoring the factory defaults. To reset SAM to the factory WiFi
sengts follow the procedures listed below:
1. Power down SAM by holding the power buon for about 5 seconds. Let go
once the red LED goes out.
2. Press and hold the power buon for about 10 seconds unl the red LED starts
to blink slowly. This indicates the start of the boot loader mode.
3. The boot loader will restore the factory default with the WiFi SSID set to
SynScanWiFi_xxxxxx. No password will be required.
4. Power down SAM by holding the power buon for about 5 seconds unl the
red LED goes out.
The next me you power SAM up it will start with the factory WiFi sengs.
Note: When the power buon is pushed and
held for more than 9 seconds, or when a
rmware upgrade is to be done, SAM will enter
boot loader mode and the factory default WiFi
sengs will be restored. If you were using
other than the default sengs you will need
to go back to the WiFi sengs screens in the
Star Adventurer mini Console to re-enter your
sengs preferences.
