4.3-7 Testing base/off/platform switch
1. Ensure both emergency stop buttons are pulled
out.
2. On base control console, turn base/off/platform
key switch to off position. Attempt to raise or
lower the platform.

Result: Platform raising and lowering functions
should not operate.
3. On base control console, turn off/base platform
key switch to platform position.
4. On base control console, attempt to activate
each boom and platform switch while holding
function enable switch.
▪
Result: All boom and platform functions
should not operate while holding function
enable switch.
5. On base control console, turn off/platform/base
key switch to base position. Attempt to raise or
lower the platform.
▪
Result: Platform raising and lowering functions
should operate.
