Section 6 – Additional Procedures Loading/Unloading
6.4-2 Lifting
1. Place boom in stowed position centered
between drive wheels.
2. On either the left or right side of the MEWP,
disconnect and lock out main power connector.
3. Clear platform of all personnel, tools and
materials.
WARNING
When lifting the MEWP, lifting devices must be
attached to designated lift points only (refer to
Figure 26).
WARNING
Use chains of ample load capacity sufcient to
withstand MEWP weight. Refer to the serial plate
of the MEWP for specic weight.
4. Properly adjust rigging to ensure MEWP remains
level during lifting. See Center of gravity location
(Figure 26).
